The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Basketball team earned a spot in the MHSAA Regional Final game following a 65-39 win over Almont High School. Pressure defense was a big key to the success the Irish enjoyed as Notre Dame forced seven first half turnovers to take a 36-11 lead into halftime. Aguilar Earns Two State Titles to Pace Irish

The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Swim and Dive team enjoyed a successful MHSAA DIII State Finals meet (held at the Holland Aquatics Center), placing 17th as a team with a score of 43 points and having a number of outstanding individual performances. Senior Rudy Aguilar earned two individual state titles, taking the 200 Freestyle in a state-record time on 1:37.37 and the 100 Freestyle in a time of 45.71. Merlo Finishes as State Runner-Up

Notre Dame Bowler Michaella Merlo finished as the runner-up at the MHSAA State Individual Finals over the weekend. Merlo finished with a pin total of 1105 through the six-game qualifying round, earning the 14th seed and advancing to the playoff round. Merlo then topped the 3rd seed Jordan Carroll from New Boston Huron (328-304), 6th seed Amber Doust from Gaylord (338-330), and 10th seed Makayla Lancioni (426-406) to reach the final.
