The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Soccer team advanced to the MHSAA DII district final with wins over Pontiac and #3-ranked Avondale. Staskowski Takes Individual Title, Irish Finish 2nd at State Finals

Boys and Girls XC Teams Take First at Oakland County

Both the Notre Dame Boys and Girls Cross Country teams became Oakland County Division II Champions for the second consecutive year by placing 1st at the championship invitational at Kensington Metro Park. Brendan Fraser was the overall winner for the boys, out-pacing all runners in both division I and division II by finishing the race on the very difficult course in 16:00. Golfers Break School 9-Hole Record in Win

The Notre Dame Girls Varsity Golf team defeated Oxford 167 strokes to 204, breaking the school record for the 9-hole team low score in the process. Danielle Staskowski also broke the school record for 9-hole low score with a 35. Maddie McClune (42), Gigi Gonzales (44), and Gabby Jacoby (46) also led Notre Dame in the record-breaking performance.

Notre Dame’s Booster Club continues to contribute to Irish athletics in big ways. Each year, the Notre Dame athletics Booster Club helps the school’s many different sports teams in a number of important ways, not the least of which is raising money. But just as critical, volunteering by parents is an important component of the school’s athletic functions. Notre Dame’s girls and boys cross country teams travel this weekend to Dayton, Ohio, for the 23rd annual Midwest Catholic Cross Country Championships (MCC), which will bring together more than 80 teams from five Midwest states.
