Notre Dame Takes Annual Invite

Notre Dame improved to 7-6-2 by taking the annual invitational tournament held between the Irish, Flushing, Frankenmuth, and Birmingham Groves. Notre Dame began the day with a 1-0 win over Flushing.  The only goal of the match came off of a header by Peter Miklas setup by a pass from Nathan Mylenek.  Will Baldwin earned his 7th shutout of the season in the victory. Irish Go 6-0 to Take Goodrich Invite

Notre Dame improved to 21-4-2 as NDP took the Goodrich Invitational, its second tournament championship of the season, going 6-0 without dropping a single set. The Irish opened pool play by defeating Frankenmuth, who was coming off of a tournament title at Croswell Lexington 25-19, 25-11.  Notre Dame then went on to defeat Brandon (25-16, 25-9) and Bentley (25-10, 25-9). Big Second Half Lifts Irish Past Falcons

It was a tale of two halves on Friday night as Notre Dame earned a 35-25 win at Dearborn Divine Child to improve to 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the CHSL AA Division.  The Falcons jumped out to a 19-7 lead in the first half led by quarterback Jimmy Seewald threw for 262 yards and two touchdown passes.  However, the second half was a completely different story as the Irish would score 28 unanswered points before a late DC touchdown.
