Aguilar Sets Three Pool Records at Athens

Despite a number of record-breaking performances the Notre Dame Boys Swim team fell 97-86 to Troy Athens on Tuesday.  Rudy Aguilar set three pool records at Troy Athens by taking first place in the 200 and 500 yard Freestyle races and as the lead in the 4X100 Freestyle Relay.  The 200 yard Freestyle mark had stood since 1977 Aguilar also set a new pool record in the 100 Freestyle. Alex Impellizzeri (Diving), Carl Wacker (100 Fly and 100 Back), the 200 Free Relay (Matt LaMothe, Thomas Robbins, Zach Vogel, Aguilar) and the 400 Free Relay (Aguilar, Wacker, Robbins, Vogel) also picked up wins to help the Irish keep pace with the Red Hawks.
