The Notre Dame Swim and Dive team fell to Ortonville Brandon 93-84 in their latest meet. A late DQ in the final event proved to be the difference in the meet despite the fact that the Irish were greatly outnumbered. Notre Dame earned seven total first place finishes on the night. Carl Wacker took first in the 200 Free (2:06.80) and 100 Breaststroke (1:09.76), Aidan Schurig finished first in the 50 Free (22.83), Zach Vogel won the 100 Butterfly (1:05.51), Thomas Robbins took the 100 Free (57.45), and Matt LaMothe earned a first place finish in the 100 Backstroke (1:10.49). The 200 Free relay team of Peter McNelis, Wacker, Robbins, and Schurig also brought home a first place finish with a time of 1:42.28. The Irish swim at Romeo on Thursday in their next meet.
