Notre Dame Prep headed to Livonia Ladywood for a battle of the top-2 teams in the CHSL Division II. It was the Blazers who got the best of the Irish, winning the game by a score of 9-6 and dropping NDP’s record to 6-4 on the year. Ladywood got off to an early 2-0 but the Irish would anwers, getting 2 goals from Izzy Case to tie the game up. However, the Blazers would add 3 goals before halftime to take a 5-2 lead into the break. Before half, Ladywood scored 3 more and went into halftime with a lead of 5-2. NDP would cut the deficit to 1 on goals by Case and Morgan Gales but Ladywood would pull away with 4 unanswered goals to take a 9-4 advantage. Anna Grace Agro would try and lead the Irish back with 2 late goals but the Blazers would hold on for the win. Notre Dame will take on Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard in the CHSL Semi-Finals next Tuesday with a possible rematch with Ladywood set if NDP can come away with a victory.
