Impellizzeri Sets Dive Mark Against Cranbrook and Brother Rice

The Notre Dame Swim and Dive team had their work cut out for them as the Irish faced off with Brother Rice and Cranbrook, two of the top teams in the CHSL and the state. Though they fell on the scoreboard Notre Dame received season-best times from Nick Hariskos in the 100 Breaststroke, Peter McNelis in the 100 Backstroke, and Zach Vogel in the 100 Butterfly. Divers Ryan Flaherty and Chris Walters also posted career nights with a second and third place finishes.  However, the real story of the meet was Sophomore Diver Alex Impellizzeri, who set a Notre Dame and Waterford Kettering pool record with a six-dive list score of 216.70.  Impellizzeri also posted a personal-record time of 26.97 in the 50 Freestyle.
