Notre Dame Varsity Volleyball extended its winning streak to 20 matches and improved to 30-5 overall with a straight set win over Rochester Adams at home 25-15, 25-11, 25-23.
Notre Dame came out on fire in all three sets with eight, 10, and six point leads to start out each set. The Irish had three players with double-doubles. Miss Volleyball finalists Maddy Chinn and Natalie Risi led all attackers and defenders on the evening. Chinn hit at a .581 pace on her way to 20 kills, 15 digs, five blocks and four serving points while Risi had 11 kills, 14 digs, three assists, eight points (including two) aces and two blocks. Aly Borellis had 16 assists and 12 digs to go with four kills and five points. Maria Famularo played a steady match with three service points, seven kills, 16 assists, two blocks and six digs. Bianca Giglio served a game-high 17 points (two aces), three kills, four blocks and three digs while Olivia Kowalkowski had eight points and 12 digs. Emily Mohr continued to be a force at the net with four more blocks to her team-leading totals.
