Over the weekend the Notre Dame Wrestling team traveled to the Sagniaw Heritage Invitational meet. The Irish ended up finishing 1-4 on the day, due in large part to the fact that Notre Dame was forced to void the 112 and heavyweight classes all weekend, giving away 12 points each match that could have swung a majrity of the duals the other way. The Irish defeated host Heritage 36-33 while falling to Gaylord (70-6), Saginaw Swan Valley (45-30), Ogemaw Heights (36-28), and Flushing (51-26). Brendan Fraser and John Paul Terzano each won four matches on the day. Josh Stanczak and David Pohlman each picked up three victories while Alec Gabourey added a pair of wins.
