Notre Dame began the 2015 volleyball season in a similar fashion to the previous four, going 5-0-1 to take the West Bloomfield Invitational for the 5th consecutive season. Notre Dame opened the day by splitting sets with Fenton, dropping the first set 25-23 before coming back with a 25-15 win in the second. From there the Irish proceeded to take both sets from Walled Lake Western (25-14, 25-9), Farmington (25-13, 25-7). St. Catherine (25-13, 25-10), and Harrison (25-14, 25-12) to setup a matchup in the finals against host West Bloomfield. The Lakers took the opening set 25-22 but Notre Dame would respond, taking the final two sets (25-14, 15-9) to secure the tournament title. The Irish used a balanced offensive attack on the day led by freshman Maddie Chinn, who recorded 36 kills, including 12 in the championship match. Caitlin Fitzgerald (23 kills), Jackie Lopez (19), Natalie Risi (19), and Morgan Verheyen (12) also contributed for Notre Dame. Erica Schwegman added 52 assists and Marisa Ciszewski had 20 to help setup the NDP hitters. Defensively, senior Emma Kowalkowski totaled 22 digs (20 in the championship) to go along with 25 service points and sophomore Gabrielle Shilling led the team with 9 blocks.
