The Notre Dame Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to Romeo High School for a game on Monday. Notwithstanding cold, blizzard-like conditions, the Irish defeated Romeo by a score of 9-5.
Logan Currie led the Irish offensive attack with three goals while Spencer Wittebort added two goals and an assist. Nick Wagner, Nick Foltenyi, Nick Dueweke and Nick Pollack each contributed a goal in the winning effort. Kevin Craig made his season debut in goal, stopping 4 shots. Matt Knill, Jacob Muhktar and Parker Redburn played aggressive defense, frustrating the Bulldog offense throughout the game and causing numerous turnovers.
The victory brings the Irish record to 3-3 on the season and adds momentum leading into this Friday’s contest with Flint Powers.
