Jon Potwardowski, David Jankowski, David Carroll, Kyler Kirk, and James Yanik earned medals at Saturday's Wrestling Invitational at Warren Lincoln High School (December 12, 2011)

Competitive Cheer won the CCCAM invite with 710.21 points. The Irish are ranked #2 in Division 3 by the Cheer Coaches Association (December 12, 2011)

Wrestling opened their season with a win over South Lyon East 36-36 (win by criteria). It came down to the sixth criteria, most pins. NDP had two pins (Michael Cowdin and Kyler Kirk) to South Lyon East's one pin. The Irish then fell to Dearborn to finish the day 1-1. (December 7, 2011)

Girls swimming and diving finished 11th with 87 points at the MHSAA Division 3 Finals.  Junior Marin McInerney earned first team all state honors in three events.  McInerney was 4th in the 200 Free (1:57.88), 3rd in the 100 Back (1:00.03), and 8th in the 200 Free relay (1:42.69) along with seniors Emily Kaye, Kaleigh Mullen and Stephanie Rutila.  Mullen also earned first team all state honors in the 500 Free with an 8th place finish (5:23.48).  The 400 Free relay (Kaye, junior Payton Hoff, Mullen, McInerney) placed 9th (3:44.05), earning second team all state honors.  Mullen also placed 12th in the 200 Free (2:00.6) to earn second team all state honors.  (November 19, 2011)

Varsity Volleyball defeated MH Lamphere in three games to advance to the MHSAA Regional Final. The Irish will face Marysville on Thursday 11/10 (6pm) at Armada High School. (November 9, 2011)

Sara Barron has been selected as one of 20 state finalists for the Wendy's High School Heisman Award.  The award is given to high school seniors who have earned a varsity letter prior to their senior year and are active in their community.  Barron and Joe Mancinotti are the 2011-2012 school winners for NDP.  (November 1, 2011)

Senior Chad Barnhart has been named to the All State Honorable Mention team for boys tennis in Division 4.  Is is the first time in school history that a boys tennis player has earned all state honors. (October 31, 2011)

Girls cross country finished second at the regional meet and qualified to compete as a team a the state finals next weekend at Michigan International Speedway.  Senior Sara Barron won the meet (19:06), sophomore Jamie Hanson was 11th (20:28), senior Christina Casali was 13th (20:48) and freshman Lauren McGrath was 15th (20:52).  Sophomores Maria Pagnucco and Haley Hershey along with freshman Christine Scheer will also compete for the Irish at the state finals. (October 29, 2011)

Sara Barron won the CHSL Division 2 Cross Country Jamboree #1 (19:17.86).  Jamie Hanson was 11th (21:32.31) and Christina Casali was 13th (22:05.74).  The team placed third overall.  On the boys side, Troy Kauffman was second (18:13.95) and Luke Brennan was 13th (19:31.94).   (September 13, 2011)
