CURRENT NEWS
The Catholic Youth Organization is instituting a $10 individual athletic participation fee begining with the 2009 Fall season. The per sport fee will be charged to your school account once teams have been selected.
The boys golf team won their first state championship in 2009! They were ahead by 7 strokes after Friday's round and finished 3 strokes ahead of second place Haslett in the end. Matt Sheperd placed 6th in the individual standings. It is the first state championship for a boys team in NDP school history.

Girls soccer fell to Detroit Country Day 1-0 in the regional final. They defeated Richmond 4-0 in the semifinal.

On biggest day of prep season, every minute counts featuring baseball at 2:45pm and Chris Burns at 4:40pm (The Oakland Press, June 2, 2009)
Richmond, Cardinal Mooney prepare for (girls soccer) regionals (The Times Herald, June 1, 2009)
Chris Burns placed third in the 2 mile at the track and field state finals with a new school record time of 9:31.28. He is the first boy in Notre Dame Prep history to earn first team all state honors in track and field.
Baseball fell to Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard 2-1 in 8 innings in the Catholic League final at Madonna University. Dan Owenby, Dave Owenby and Joe Veltri each had 2 hits for the Irish.
Softball won their third straight district tournament by defeating Marian 5-2 in the semifinal and Andover 9-8 (8 innings) in the final. They now advance to the regional on Saturday at St. Clair Shores Lakeview.
Notre Dame Prep won three Catholic High School League Championships on Saturday, May 9. The Girls Lacrosse team won their first ever title defeating Livonia Ladywood 15-14 while the Boys Lacrosse team made it two CHSL titles in a row, 18-7 over Flint Powers. The Girls Tennis team won their first league championship since 2005.
Sports physicals are available at a few convenient area locations. Our team physician, Dr. Rifat, is offering them for $25 at his office in Auburn Hills. Call 248-373-7286 to set up an appointment.
