Varsity boys basketball topped Armada 64-36 in the MHSAA District Tournament opener. Kellen McCormick led the Irish with 20 points. (March 8, 2010)

Varsity competitive cheer finished 8th at the MHSAA State Finals in their first ever appearance (March 7, 2010)

Varsity girls basketball lost to Almont 45-34 in the MHSAA District Final. Brooke Borowski led the Irish with 14 points. (March 6, 2010)

Varsity boys basketball topped Redford Union 45-22 to close out the regular season at 12-7. Danny Dulapa led the Irish with 12 points. (March 5, 2010)

Varsity girls basketball advanced to the MHSAA District finals with a 58-41 win over Lutheran North. Jane Fountain led the Irish with 17 points. (March 3, 2010)

Varsity boys hockey dropped a 6-1 decision to Avondale in the MHSAA playoffs. (March 3, 2010)

Varsity boys basketball defeated Ferndale University 54-37 to improve to 11-7 overall. Joey DeMartis had 16 points to lead the Irish. (March 2, 2010)

Varsity boys hockey beat Bishop Foley 9-1 to earn their first win of the season and advance to the second round of the MHSAA tournament (March 1, 2010)

Varsity girls basketball posted a 48-43 win at Armada in the opening round of the MHSAA tournament. Brooke Borowski led the Irish with 18 points. (March 1, 2010)

Varsity Competitive cheer qualified for the MHSAA Finals with a fourth place finish at the regional meet.  The Irish scored a new school record 757.5 points and also set new school marks for Rounds 1, 2, and 3 enroute to making their first ever appearance at the MHSAA Finals at the DeltaPlex in Grand Rapids. (February 27, 2010)    

Varsity girls basketball defeated Michigan Collegiate 56-41. Brooke Borowski led the Irish with 15 points. (February 27, 2010)

Danny Dulapa scored a game high 24 points, but it was not enough as Varsity boys basketball lost at Cardinal Mooney  66-57 (February 27, 2010)

Varsity girls basketball lost to Oakland Christian 75-47. Brooke Borowski led the Irish with 13 points (February 24, 2010)

Varsity girls ski finished 5th at the MHSAA Division II championships. The Irish were led by Morganne Matheis, who finished in fifth place in both the Slalom and Giant Slalom events. (February 22, 2010)

Varsity competitive cheer won the Berkley Invite with 703.6 points. The Irish are #10 in the most recent Michigan Competitive Cheer Coaches Division III rankings. (February 15, 2010)

Jeff Stelmach placed 3rd at the MHSAA Individual Wrestling Districts. Jeff had two pins including one in the consolation finals in 1:36. Jeff will be competing next Saturday at Individual Regionals at Williamston High School. (February 15, 2010)

Varsity girls basketball dropped a 46-40 decision to Marine City Cardinal Mooney in the opening round of the CHSL playoffs. Brooke Borowski scored 19 points to lead the Irish. (February 11, 2010)

Varsity boys basketball defeated Madison Heights Bishop Foley 51-36. Kellen McCormick led the Irish with 15 points. (February 10, 2010).

Varsity girls basketball won the CHSL West Division title with a 39-28 win at Madison Heights Bishop Foley. Brooke Borowski led the Irish with nine points. (February 10, 2010)

Girls varsity ski finished second at the CHSL finals, while boys varsity ski placed 5th. (February 9, 2010)

Varsity competitive cheer finished second at the Corunna Invite scoring a season best 723.98 points, including a school record round 2 score of 217.28 points. The Irish move up to #5 in the most recent Michigan High School Competitive Cheer Division 3 rankings. (February 7, 2010)

Junior Captain Jeff Stelmach  led the varsity wrestling team at the CHSL finals by reaching the championship finals and finishing in 2nd place.Senior Captain Nick Hafner went 3-1 and finished in 3rd place, his first tournament placement of his career. Also placing and winning their first tournament medals were Nick Parasilitti (5th), James Yanik (5th), Danny Santos (5th) and Rauairi McGreevy (6th). (February 7, 2010)

Varsity girls basketball defeated Ann Arbor Richard 52-34 behind 27 points from Brooke Borowski. The junior guard tied the school record for most free throws in a game by going 11-11 from the line. (February 6, 2010)

Girls varsity ski followed up their regular season championship with a 1st place finish in the Pine Knob divisional meet. Morganne Matheis placed third in the Giant Slalom while Sarah Novotney was fourth in the Slalom and sixth in the Giant Slalom. (February 4, 2010)

Two Senior varsity football players have earned scholarships to GLIAC schools. Each signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday Feb. 3rd. 6'5 200lb WR Evan Sassack will attend Hillsdale University in the fall of 2010 while 6'0 200 lb LB Chad Powers has committed to Northwood University. Varsity boys basketball defeated Dearborn Divine Child 51-42 for their 7th straight win.  Kellen McCormick scored 18 points to lead the Irish. (January 30, 2010)

Varsity girls basketball upset #19 Marine City Cardinal Mooney 47-41. Brooke Borowski scored 13 points and Mary Kate Zinn added 12. (January 30, 2010)

Varsity girls basketball defeated Cabrini 57-53 behind 18 points from Brooke Borowski and 17 points from Jane Fountain. (January 23, 2010)

Varsity boys basketball upset three-time division champion Ann Arbor Richard 56-53 in double overtime to take over first place in the CHSL. Kellen McCormick scored 19 points for the irish (7-2, 4-0). (January 22, 2010)

Varsity boys basketball remains undefeated in their division at 3-0 after a win at home over Bishop Foley 49-43.  Kellen McCormick scored 16 points to lead the Irish while Charles Hayden and Joey DeMartis each added 11 points.  They are now 6-2 overall.  (January 19, 2010)

Varsity boys basketball increased their league record to 2-0 with a win at home over Detroit Loyola 65-56.  The Irish had five in double figures, led by Charles Hayden with 16 points.  JV and freshman boys also defeated Loyola.  (January 16, 2010)

Freshman boys basketball defeated De La Salle 48-41 (January 12, 2010)

Competitive cheer placed 2nd at the Oxford Invitational (665.1568) behind Rochester Adams (693.8260).  They finished ahead of several teams in Division 1-3 and scored the highest of all teams in Round 3 (289.2).  The Irish are now ranked #7 in Division 3 and have the third highest Round 3 score for Divison 3 this season.  (January 9, 2010)

Varsity boys basketball won their league opener at Royal Oak Shrine 62-59  Danny Dulapa scored 18 points to lead the Irish.  JV boys basketball remained undefeated with a 56-45 win over Shrine.  (January 8, 2010)

Varsity wrestling went 1-1 in their league opener, defeating Riverview Gabriel Richard 37-30 and falling to DeLaSalle.  Jake Romeo, Tyler Yanik and Mike Koempel each won both of their matches while Jeff Stelmach, Nick Hafner, Ruairi McGreevy, Keegan Kirk and Danny Santos each won a match.  (January 6, 2009)

Emily Wade hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime, but it was not enough as the Varsity girls basketball team fell to Farmington Hills Harrison 58-49. (January 6, 2009)

JV boys basketball won the Irish Christmas Classic with a 64-48 victory over Bloomfield Hills Andover in the championship game.  They defeated Detroit University Prep 70-45 in the opening game.  (December 30, 2009)

Varsity boys basketball routed Bloomfield Hills Andover 58-37 in the championship game of the Irish Christmas Classic. Ross Lindemann led the Irish with 20 points, Joey DeMartis added 17 and Danny Dulapa scored 15 points including 3 three pointers. (December 30, 2009)

Varsity boys basketball evened their record at 2-2 with a 60-35 win over Detroit University Prep in the opening game of the Irish Christmas Classic.  Danny Dulapa led the Irish with 15 points and 11 assists. (December 29, 2009)

Varsity boys basketball evened their record at 1-1 with a 48-32 win over Lutheran North in their home opener.  Joey DeMartis scored 17 points to lead the Irish scoring and Danny Dulapa added 12 points.  JV and freshman boys basktball also picked up victories against Lutheran North.  (December 15, 2009)

Varsity girls basketball increased their record to 2-0 on the season with a 44-43 victory over Divine Child.  Adrianna Drake scored a basket on a put back with 1.5 seconds left to give the Irish the victory.  Brooke Borowski led the team in scoring with 10 points and Jane Fountain added 7 points.  JV girls basketball also defeated Divine child by one point.  (December 14, 2009)

NDP wrestling competed against Linden, Birch Run, Walled Lake Northern, Flint Powers Catholic and Linden B at the Linden team tournament.  Captain Jeff Stelmach was a perfect 5-0 on the day and assistant captain Jake Romeo went 3-2.  Captain Nick Hafner (2-3) and Tyler Yanik also picked up wins for the Irish. Varsity girls basketball team jumped out to a 12-1 lead and never looked back enroute to a 43-36 season opening win over Lutheran North. Sophomore guard Kiaya Allen-Bowman led the Irish (1-0) with nine points. (December 11, 2009)

Seniors Chris Burns and Alex Lallier have been chosen as Wendy's High School Heisman school winners for NDP.  Burns was chosen as one of 20 state finalists. (December 8, 2009)

NDP wrestling competed in the Toys for Tots/Takedown in Motown tournament at Warren Mott.  Captain Jeff Stelmach went 3-1 and finished 2nd in his weight class while co-captain Jake Romeo went 3-1 and placed 5th in his weight class after losing in an early round.  Junior Keegan Kirk also won a match. The Notre Dame Marist 5/6 girls basketball team won the St. Thecla Thanksgiving Tournament.  They defeated Guardian Angels and St. Joan of Arc to advance to the finals where they won a double overtime contest against Star of the Sea.  (November 28, 2009)

Two NDP athletes have received D1 offers to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.  Destiny Tolliver has signed a National Letter of Intent to the University of New Hampshire to play volleyball.  The 6'1" all state right side hitter becomes the 7th athlete from NDP's 2007 state championship team to sign on to play at the next level.  Nick Garippa will sign a National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse at the University of Detroit Mercy. Senior Neal Al-attar has been named to the All State boys soccer second team. (November 18, 2009)

Senior Chris Burns is the 2009 MHSAA Division 2 boys cross country state champion. He ran the 5K course at Michigan International Speedway in a time of 15:47.8, crossing the finish line less than three second before runner up Jacob Hord from Linden.  (November 7, 2009)
