The NDPMA Performing Arts program offers extraordinary opportunities for all students to express themselves both musically and dramatically. In-class instruction allows students to develop individual talents and tastes with a variety of instruments and vocal techniques. Students are exposed to theory, history, and various musical styles, while paying particular attention to lessons of music appreciation. In addition, each year there are numerous opportunities for students at all three divisions to get involved in various drama, choral and stage productions.

NDPMA Band Concert: See photos from the Big Band Swing Concert held Feb. 16th in the cafetorium. The Notre Dame Prep Bands have enjoyed a tradition of excellence. It is the special partnership of student, parent, teacher, school, community and the wonder of music that makes the magic of performance come alive. The entire process brings a specialty to our lives that is rarely found elsewhere. Memories built here will last for years, and skills of performance and an appreciation of music will endure for a lifetime. |
For the first time at the 2011 District Festival, all 5 NDPMA choirs scored high enough to be invited to state level competition. The Honors Choir received a Superior rating at the Michigan State Vocal Music Association District Choir Festival.
