For a very long time I have been fascinated with the Music of Enya. Her voice and her sounds are so heavenly.I would like to sare with you some of her music today. Also please read a little article that I have written about the Culture of Life. All of us need to pray to God that hearts will be changed and that abortion will be no more, not only in our country but all over the world. We need to stand together and change one heart at a time...
Best Friends
By mpawlowskiNovember 7th, 2008
"Our hearts are restless until they rest in you." St. Augustine wrote those words about 420 A.D. After years of learning about people and the way they think,Augustine came to the conclusion that the only real lasting friend is God Himself. Sometimes in our search for God we take a hard road; we don't want to see Him. We are afraid because God(Who knows us inside out) might ask us to change our lives.Yet,we know that if we have real faith in Him we could move mountains and dreams will come true. And so if you have a best friend-thank God because your love for each other gives you a glimps of God's love for you.
Bless the Child

Though the day may be rainy and the sky may be gray,
Though the sun may be hidden, by dark clouds today, believe it is shining-though hidden from view, believe there is no cloud that the sun can't pierce through...
Though your hope may be waning and the day may be drear,
Believe that God loves you, that to Him you are dear. Rejoice in life's trials for God's love will pierce through, in a rainbow of happiness for you and me too.

The Contemplation of Mary
By mpawlowskiOctober 9th, 2008
"And so to stand firmly and avoid pitfalls, keep to the path you are on.Let your longing relentlessly beat upon the cloud of unknowing that lies between you and your God.Pierce that cloud with the keen shaft of your love, spurn the thought of anything less than God,and do not give up this work for anything. For the contemplative work of love by itself will eventually heal you of all the roots of sin.Fast as much as you like, watch far into the night, rise long before dawn, discipline your body and you would still gain nothing. The desire and tendency toward sin would remain in your heart. What is more,if you wept in constant sorrow for your sins and Christ's passion and pondered unceasingly on the joys of heaven,do you think it would do you any good? Much good,I am sure. You would profit no doubt and grow in grace but in comparison with the blind stirring of love, all this is very little. For the contemplative work of love is the best part, belonging to Mary.It is perfectly complete by itself while all these disciplines and exercises are of little value without it."
The Cloud of Unknowing-Written by an unknown mystic of the XIV Century.

Prayer for Vocations
Dear God,
You have created us in your own image and have given us so many gifts. We ask you to bless us all,so that we may best know how to love you and each other with those gifts. We pray especially for those young men and women who are searching for ways to serve you in love.May they be open to all that you ask. We pray for those men who study for the priesthood, that their preparation may bring to the Church happy and holy priests. We ask this, through Christ the Good Shepherd. Amen.
Why Should We Worship God?
By mpawlowskiOctober 5th, 2008
Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, a beloved pastor and TV personality often talked about God's love for us all.He stressed time and time again the fact that we are valuable in the eyes of God and that our Heavenly Father wants us to be happy. And so why should we worship God? Not because God will be unhappy if you don't,but because you will be unhappy if you don't!
The Angels
By mpawlowskiSeptember 17th, 2008
Angels are the guardians of hope and wonder, the keepers of magic and dreams. Angels watch over you wherever you go, keeping each day perfect and promising a bright new tomorrow. The motto of all angels of God is "It's a wonderful life." Wherever there is true love,an angel is flying by.Your guardian angel knows you inside and out and loves you just the way you are.
Angel of God,my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here.
Be ever this day at my side,to light,to guard,to rule and guide.
The Crusade for Love
By mpawlowskiSeptember 11th, 2008
I. Respect everyone-Christ resides in everyone. Be sensitive to others for they are your brothers and sisters.
II. Think well of everyone-think ill of no one. Try to find something good even in the worst circumstances.
III. Always speak well of others-do not cast a slur on anyone.Repair any harm resulting from an uttered word.Do not provoke strife between people.
IV. Speak to everyone in the language of love.Do not raise your voice.Do not swear.Do not vex others.Do not provoke tears.Reassure others.Show a kind heart.
V. Do good things to others,as you would like them done to you.Be activeley compassionate in time of suffering.Forgive everyone everything.Do not hold grudges. And above all pray for everyone, even your enemies.
Life's Battles
By mpawlowskiSeptember 8th, 2008
"If you think you are beaten, you are. If you think you dare not, you don't. If you like to win but think you can't, it's almost certain that you won't."
Remember that Life's battles don't always go to the stronger woman or man,but sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can. Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself to do the thing you have to do when it ought to be done whether you like it or not.It is the first lesson that ought to be learned and however early a person's training begins,it is probably the last lesson a person learns thoroughly.
