Dear NDP/MA families and friends,

Thank you for the time and dedication you take in the Parents Club Volunteer Program.  Without you, the families and friends of NDP/MA, the Parents Club would not be able to conduct the nearly 50 events at both campuses that support our children (Walk-a-thon, Fall Family Festival, graduations, dances), support events (The Arts, Hospitality), and keep the future of our school bright (Open House).

I am excited to report that the reorganization of the Parents Club fundraising and Volunteer Program last year was a success, meaning that we will continue the reduced volunteer commitment of 10 hours per family for the 2009-2010 school year, and again hold our Super Raffle drawing at the Oktoberfest Celebration in October. As you can see from these web pages, it takes a lot more than the monumental task of “just parenting” to keep NDP/MA a nurturing and enlightening environment for our children.

The NDP/MA Administration, staff, and families make the three divisions of our one school the jewel that it is today.  Parents and family instill and develop the values in our children while NDP/MA reinforces with the Mission: “With God … we form Christian People, Upright Citizens, and Academic Scholars.”

The trio of Time, Talent, and Treasure summarizes what the Parents Club, we as parents, contributes to our school:

Time – the precious and elusive commodity that we commit to the many facets of our lives

Talent – the God-given and personally honed capabilities that each of us possess

Treasure – the financial contributions that are above and beyond tuition and fees

“The trio” is critical to ensure that NDP/MA is strong, viable, and available for our children’s children; not just another name of the “Catholic schools to be closed” list.

On behalf of NDP/MA Parents Club, thank you for your tireless efforts.  Let’s continue our enthusiastic commitment for the benefit our school … “for the kids”.
