Marist Academy Waterford Campus: Grades JK-5
Marist Academy, Lower Division is an exceptional, nurturing environment for Jr. Kindergarten through fifth grade. Learning is a natural activity in the primary years and Marist, Lower Division is the place for awakening the body, mind, and spirit! Along with our strong core curriculum, Marist students enjoy Spanish, computer education, art, music, library science, and physical education.
As a Marist School, the Lower Division is guided by the spirit and principles of the Society of Mary (Marist Fathers and Brothers). As a Catholic, private school, we live our Mission by striving to be Christian People, Upright Citizens, and Academic Scholars.
We promote and enhance the faith lives of our young students with daily prayer and weekly liturgies. Religion classes provide students with a solid intellectual and moral foundation in the Catholic faith.
Marist, Lower Division will meet the learning, social, and emotional needs of growing children by anticipating developing needs and providing an early advantage right from the start. Children will be evaluated and interviewed in our admission process; progress will be continually monitored throughout his or her years in the Lower Division.
Throughout our educational program, our students learn responsibility, independence, and social skills while interacting with peers in a diverse school community. Our students are offered extracurricular opportunities, such as CYO Athletics, Student Council, Christian Service, Spanish Club, and a variety of exciting clubs.
