2012 Graduate Receives 'Boards' at USAFA
In a ceremony held August 7, Notre Dame Prep grad Ruairi McGreevy '12 received his "boards," signifying his acceptance as a full cadet into the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Acceptance Day marks the end of basic training for the new cadets. They receive shoulder boards that formally identify them as full cadets in the Cadet Wing of the USAFA.
McGreevy chose fellow NDP grad and Academy cadet Nick Hafner '10 to pin one of his boards. See video above.
