The Notre Dame Preparatory / Marist Academy Parents Club is an organization of parents from all three NDP/MA divisions (K-5, Academy, and High School) supporting the school\'s mission statement through fundraising, social events, and involvement with the Arts Council and extra-curricular activities. The Parents Club exists and functions because of the volunteer commitment of the parents and guardians of our children - a collective 20,000 hours - resulting in some of the most professional and well staged events around. Where else can 700 people be fed in 15 minutes besides the Fall Freshman Corn Roast Anyone who has attended our annual Taste of the Town Silent and Live auction would agree that it is a night of food, fun, and friends that rivals just about any social event.

The Parents Club is involved in six main areas.

• Fundraising
  
  The Parents Club is responsible for a substantial contribution to the NDP/MA operating budget and hosts events such as the Fall Fashion Show, Fall Craft Show, Taste of the Town, and seasonal/service fundraisers including the Used Uniform Sale, Scrip, and Spring Flower Sale.
• The Arts
  
  Exposure to the Arts is an important part of a student\'s learning experience. Our parents support drama, chorus, orchestra, band, and the visual arts activities by assisting with transportation, publicity, costumes, programs, make-up, meals, refreshments, and much more.
• Extra-curricular Clubs
  
  Children\'s interests need to be nurtured and developed during the schools years. Parents support activities such as the Lego League, Math Club, Forensics, and Science Olympiad as coaches and leaders.
• Student Activities
  
  The school year would not be complete without those special memories including Senior All Night Party, Daddy/Daughter Dance, Field Day, Fifth Grade Graduation Brunch, Eighth Grade Graduation Reception, and Senior Graduation Reception. Parent responsibilities include event planning and food preparation.
• Social Activities
  
  Parents can have some fun too. Events include the Spring Mother\'s Brunch, Marist Spaghetti Dinner, Freshman Corn Roast, Fall Family Festival, Get Acquainted, and Parent/Faculty Games.
• School Support
  
  Many behind the scenes tasks are supported by the Parents Club including Advancement Clerical, Advertising, Family Directory, Hospitality, Open House, and Newsletter. Many different personal and professional talents are involved.
