NAVIANCE IS HERE !!!  Seniors should have their profile and college information updated!

 

Special Notes: 

 

VERY IMPORTANT FOR PARENTS OF SENIORS . . . .Please make sure your child makes an appointment to see their counselor regarding Naviance, college applications and any other items they need to discuss.  Some college application deadlines are coming up, so don't have your child wait until the last minute to apply on Naviance.

*  Sign ups for college rep visits are now available on Naviance and in the counseling office.  Please have your child sign up to listen to these presentations at NDP and gather important information!

Current seniors can request transcripts through Naviance.  Transcripts must be requested in order to process your electronic applications.   

 

JUNIORS . . . . The counseling department has scheduled a junior parent meeting to discuss college preparation items.  Parents may either attend the November 2nd meeting at 7:00 pm or November 3rd at 9:00 am. 

FREE Practice ACT test available at NDP on Wednesday, November 9th.  To register, go to www.PrincetonReview.com or by calling 800-2Review.

Juniors should register and take the ACT or SAT at least once prior to Senior year.

  • NDP is a national ACT testing site. 

  • Use NDP school CEEB code 233-040 when registering for the ACT.

  • Winter and Spring breaks as well as days off throughout the year can be excellent opportunities to visit your prospective colleges.  Schedule your visits at least two weeks in advance.
