Track and field: Max Schwegman won the 100 meter dash (11.0) and 200 meter dash (22.8) at the regional meet at Lahser (top 2 in each event qualify plus those who meet additional qualifying standards). Max Schwegman is the lone qualifier from the men's team. The 3200 meter relay team of Aidan Schurig, Luke Brennan, Joshua Fullerton and Troy Kauffman placed third with a season best time of 8:32.9 and Nathan Mylenek was third in the two mile with a personal best time of 10:12.9 (May 17, 2013)

NDP finished 3rd at the Lutheran North Mustang Invite. Max Schwegman won the 100 (11.5), 200 (23.0) and joined Matt Durkin, James Durkin and Jermaih Johnson on the winning 400 relay (46.5). Aidan Schurig won the 800 (2:09.5). (May 10, 2013)

At the Divine Child Mark Carpenter Invitational, Eric Leduc was 6th in both shot put (40'7") and discus (112'1"). The 3200 relay team of Luke Brennan, Joshua Fullerton, Ryan Obear and Troy Kauffman was 4th (8:41.93) and the 1600 relay team of Jeremy McNair, Obear, Kauffman and Max Schwegman was 6th (3:41.70). At the Gibralter Carlson Marauder Invitational, the Irish finished 5th overall. Event winners include Max Schwegman (100 Dash, 11.1) and the 400 Meter Relay (Matt Durkin, James Durkin, Jermaih Johnson, Schwegman) 46.0. (April 26, 2013)

The Irish (2-2) fell to Lutheran North 76-52. Eric Leduc won shot put (42'10"), Jermaih Johnson won the 100 (11.3), Nathan Mylenek won the mile (4:58.3), Jeremy McNair won the 400 (56.2), and Max Schwegman won the 200 (24.1). NDP also won the 800 relay (Jermaine Johnson, Matt Durkin, Jermaih Johnson, Schwegman) with a time of 1:38.1 and the 400 relay (Matt Durkin, James Durkin, Jermaih Johnson, Schwegman) with a time of 47.0. The Irish (2-1) fell to Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard 70-44 but defeated Riverview Gabriel Richard 76-34 in a double dual meet. Patrick Anger won the long jump (17'8"). Aidan Schurig won the 800 (2:16.1). The 4x800 relay (Luke Brennan, Joshua Fullerton, Schurig and Troy Kauffman) was also a winner. (April 17, 2013)

The boys track and field team defeated Cranbrook Kingswood 71-47 in their season opener at Lutheran Westland. The Irish won three out of four relays (4x800, 4x100, 4x400). Eric Leduc won shot put (38'7") and discus (79'). Matt Durkin won long jump (17'4.5"). Nathan Mylenek won the 1600 (5:07). Jeremy McNair won the 400 (57.0). James Durkin won the 300 hurdles (49.0). At the Oakland County Championship, Jake Romeo placed 5th in the 100 meter dash (11.08). (May 25, 2012)

Jake Romeo won the 100 (11.06) and the 200 (22.61) at the Catholic League A-B Championship, earning All Catholic honors. (May 22, 2012)

Ruairi McGreevy won the shot put (46'10", new school record) and was second in the discus (133'2.5") at the MHSAA Regional meet, qualifying to compete at the state finals in both events. Jake Romeo was 3rd in the 100 (10.8) and qualified to compete at the state finals. (May 18, 2012)

At the Lutheran North Mustang Invitational, Jake Romeo won the 100 (11.0) and 200 (22.6, tied meet record). Ruairi McGreevy won shot put (43'9") and Troy Kauffman won the 1600 (4:41.4). (May 11, 2012)

Jeremy McNair was 2nd in the 400 at the Ladywood 9th/10th Invite and the 400 relay team of Louis Pierite, Sean Swieboda, Connor Johnson and Alec Below was 3rd. (May 10, 2012)

In a dual meet at Riverview Gabriel Richard, Dan Durkin won the 100 (11.7) and 200 (23.8) Sean Stuart won the discus (117'5") and Ruairi McGreevy won shot put (46'4.75"). Connor Verheyen won high jump (5'4"). The 400 relay (Kyle DeCarolis, Al Smith, John Duerr, Dan Durkin) was also a winner. (May 9, 2012)

The Irish boys track and field team won the South Lyon East Divison 2 Challenge. The 400, 800 and 1600 relays were all winners. John Duerr won high jump (5'7") and was 2nd in long jump (18'4", new school record). Troy Kauffman won the 800 (2:05.4). (May 5, 2012)

The NDP boys track and field team defeated Cranbrook but fell to Lutheran North in a double dual meet. Jake Romeo won the 100 (11.0) and 200 (23.1). Troy Kauffman won the 800 (2:10.5). Ruairi McGreevy won shot put (43'6.5') and discus (127'6"). The 400 relay also won (Steve Barker, Al Smith, John Duerr, John Ireland). (May 2, 2012)

At the Oxford Invitational, Jake Romeo placed second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.34. Ruairi McGreevy broke the school record in discus with a throw of 136'11". The 400 meter relay team of Kyle DeCarolis, Dan Durkin, Joe Mancinotti and Romeo placed 7th with a time of 45.51. (April 28, 2012)

The boys track and field team is 2-1 after falling to Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard 73-59. Rairi McGreevy won both throwing events with new school records of 44'9.5" in shot put and 128'6" in discus. Jake Romeo broke the school record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.83. April 23, 2012

At the Walled Lake Western Stafford Relays, new school records were set in the 800 meter relay (Kyle DeCarolis, Dan Durkin, Brian Cain, Jake Romeo 1:35.55, 4th place) and the 400 meter relay (Kyle DeCarolis, Dan Durkin, Joe Mancinotti, Jake Romeo 45.34, 5th place). The high jump relay placed third (John Duerr 5'6", Connor Verheyen 5'6", Jesse Lopez 5'3"). April 21, 2012

Boys track and field defeated Bishop Foley 112-15. Freshman Ryan Obear won the long jump (16'2") and sophomore Jeremy McNair won the 400 (57.15). Jake Romeo won the 100 (11.38) and 200 (23.57). April 18, 2012

The NDP boys track and field team opened their season with a 74.5-47.5 win over Royal Oak Shrine. Senior Jake Romeo improved his school record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.99. Senior Ruairi McGreevy won shot put (42'10.5") and discus (115') with personal best distances. (April 3, 2012)

Three school records were broken by the boys track and field team at the Lutheran North Invite. Matt Swazer improved his school record from 2010 in the long jump with an effort of 18'2.75", the 400 relay team of Kyle DeCarolis, Dan Durkin, Joe Mancinotti and Jake Romeo improved their school record from earlier this season with a time of 46.2, and the 800 relay team of Swazer, John Ireland, Brian Cain and Durkin broke the record from 2005 with a time of 1:35.9. Boys track and field defeated Bishop Foley 93-33 but fell to Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard 71-57. They finished their league schedule 4-2. Ruairi McGreevy threw a personal best 41'4.25" in shot put. Joe Mancinotti won both hurdle events with personal best times (110 hurdles - 18.55, 300 hurdles - 44.96). Max Gilles ran a season best time in the 400 (52.91).
