Obtaining Credit
Community Service Requirements for Academic Year 2008-2009
| 1. | A minimum of 10 hours of Community Service per year is mandatory for all students at Notre Dame Preparatory school. |
| 2. | There is no promotion to the next grade level or graduation from Notre Dame Preparatory if community service has not been completed and recorded with the Campus Ministry Office. |
| 3. | The required 10 hours may be fulfilled through a variety of different places, performing a number of different service works or projects, or one service project for one organization/agency. |
| 4. | Community Service is undertaken to help people within the community (non-profit) or to help people who are either less fortunate or in great need. A few important notes – Notre Dame does not accept the following as community service projects:

Service projects for the academic year 2008-09 are to be done between May 1 2008 through April 30, 2009. The signed supervisor form and the Contract form (filled out and submitted on line) must be turned into the Campus Ministry Office within seven (7) days after completion of the service. Be sure to fill out and submit the Contract form on line before turning in the Supervisors form. All summer projects (May-August) are due in the Campus Ministry Office by September 15.
