LITERACY
- Recognize each letter of the alphabet and each sound
- Concepts of Print: beginning, middle, end of a story, title, author, illustrator and text
- Phonemic Awareness: Rhyming, blending, sequencing, and word families
- Begin to show interest in books and environmental print
- Establish left, right, top to bottom directionality
