2009-2010 School Year
Dear Notre Dame Prep or Marist Academy Parent,
At this time, I am setting up the bus schedules for the 2nd semester, for the 2009/2010 school year and need to know if you wish bus service. Service will begin on Tuesday, January 5, 2010.
Notre Dame Prep/Marist Academy’s bus routes will offer service from the Oakland Twp./Rochester Hills, Shelby Twp./Rochester Hills, Clarkston/Lake Orion, and the Waterford/White Lake/Commerce, and A.M. Woodward/Opdyke corridor areas. Please see web links for route descriptions. The bus routes will be open to Notre Dame Prep/Marist Academy students only and will follow only the Notre Dame Prep/Marist Academy daily schedule. The actual bus route and location of bus stops will be adjusted based on the bus registrations this school year.
Bus fees must be paid in advance of each semester and are non-refundable once service begins. The bus fee has been set at $550.00 per semester for round trip service, or $275.00 for one-way service (either AM or PM). The drivers will have a list of all students with information on where they get on and off, if they are round trip, or just AM or PM. A student may not switch from AM to PM or visa-versa without approval. Also they may not transfer their ride to another student. Daily passes for students needing occasional service (provided seats are available) will be $5.00 per one-way ride. Daily passes MUST be purchased from either the Notre Dame Prep or Marist Academy office before riding the bus. No new stops can be added to accommodate occasional riders. Please review the enclosed Bus Rules with your son or daughter.
Complete the form that is online and remit the appropriate amount in full. If I do not hear from you, I will assume your son or daughter will not be riding the bus for the first semester. I suggest you return your bus service materials and fee as early as possible. Make your check payable to Notre Dame Prep Marist Academy. You may mail in your completed form with payment or pay in the School Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (Please call first, holiday hours and days may be different).
