2010-2011 School Year

Dear Notre Dame Prep or Marist Academy Parents,

At this time I am setting up the bus schedules for the 1st semester, for the 2010-2011 school year and need to know if you wish bus service. Service will begin on Thursday, August 26, 2010.

Notre Dame Prep/Marist Academy’s bus routes will offer service from the Oakland Twp./Rochester Hills, Shelby Twp./Rochester Hills, Clarkston/Lake Orion, and the Waterford/White Lake/Commerce and Woodward Corridor South areas. Please see Transportation web links for route descriptions, ie: A, B, C, D and E. The bus routes will be open to Notre Dame Prep/Marist Academy students only and will follow only the Notre Dame Prep/Marist Academy daily schedule. The actual route the bus takes and the location (number) of bus stops are subject to change based on the actual number of students enrolling for bus service for each school year and each semester.

Bus fees must be paid in advance of each semester and are non-refundable once service begins. The bus fee has been set at $560.00 per semester for round trip service, or $285.00 for one-way service (either AM or PM). The drivers will have a list of all students with information on where they get on and off, if students are round trip, or just AM or PM. A student may not switch from AM to PM or visa-versa without approval. In addition, they shall not transfer their ride to another student. Daily passes for students needing occasional service (provided seats are available) will be $5.00 per one-way ride. Daily passes MUST be purchased from either the Notre Dame Prep or the Marist Academy office before riding the bus. No new stops can be added to accommodate occasional riders. Please review the enclosed Bus Rules with your son or daughter.

Complete the online form and remit the appropriate amount in full. If I do not hear from you, I will assume your son or daughter will not be riding the bus for the first semester. Please keep in mind that the buses fill up quickly. I suggest you return your bus service materials and fee as early as possible. Make your check payable to Notre Dame Prep/Marist Academy. You may mail in your completed form with payment or pay in the School Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Attn: Larry Jack (Please call first as summer office hours may be different).
