In a law signed in February 2014 all schools in the state of Michigan are required to post completed safety drills on their websites. Ten safety drills are required annually: five fire drills, two tornado drills and three lockdown drills.
The following fire and emergency drills have been conducted at Notre Dame since the beginning of the 2016-17 school year:
