Notre Dame Preparatory and Marist Academy is the first Catholic school in the United States offering the International Baccalaureate program from Junior Kindergarten to senior year. All students participate in the IB Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme until sophomore year, when students choose whether to continue into the Diploma Programme. Upon successful completion of the Diploma Programme, students earn an IB diploma, which allows them access to universities in Europe. Completing IB coursework and tests earns students college credit similar to the Advanced Placement exams. The library offers access to Questia School for Diploma Programme students, a full-text database that contains over eighty thousand full-text books and over eight million articles. These college-level resources give students access to sources to complete the Extended Essay and other Internal Assessments.
