Ena Patterson wants people to know she’s been through a lot but is still driven to achieve.
Patterson, a student at Notre Dame Preparatory School in Pontiac, has excelled academically and artistically.
She transferred from Pontiac Northern High School to Notre Dame two years ago as a junior, wanting more of an academic challenge.
“It has not been easy affording Notre Dame,” said Erainer Patterson, Ena’s mother. An annual diversity scholarship from the school has helped with expenses.
