Pontiac --Watching Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls play can inspire many a young basketball player. Participating in drills with Rose and others on his level can change a young person's goals in life.
A little more than three years ago, Kellen McCormick reached such an epiphany. At that time, McCormick, the son of former NBA player Tim McCormick, loved to play basketball. After spending time with Rose and Lindsey Hunter at an NBA elite camp, Kellen McCormick began to learn to love the game.
Now a sophomore at Pontiac Notre Dame Prep, McCormick has since set a goal of playing at the Division I level, just like his father did at Michigan.
