Notre Dame Marist Academy – Lower Division is an IB Primary Years Programme World School
Notre Dame Marist Academy-Lower Division provides an unmatched educational experience for students in Junior Kindergarten through fifth grade. Learning is a natural activity in the primary years, and NDMA-Lower Division is the best place for children to awaken the body, mind and spirit! Our students learn not only the traditional “Three R’s,” but also responsibility, independence and social skills while interacting with peers in a diverse school community.
As a Marist School, the Lower Division is guided by the spirit and principles of the Society of Mary (Marist Fathers and Brothers). As a Catholic, private institution, we live our Mission by striving to be Christian People, Upright Citizens, and Academic Scholars.
We promote and enhance the faith lives of our young students with daily prayer and weekly liturgies, as well as Christian service projects. Religion classes provide students with a solid intellectual and moral foundation in the Catholic faith. Despite our Catholic identity, we are welcoming to students from all faith backgrounds.
NDMA-Lower Division will meet the needs of growing children by providing an early developmental advantage right from the start. Parents of prospective students can be assured that the academic, social, emotional/behavioral, and physical progress of their child will be monitored continuously throughout their years in our school. Our faculty and staff are committed to helping all students mature into capable and conscientious young adults who are ready to succeed on the next highest rung on their educational ladder.
