IRISH FOR A DAY
We welcome students to be “Irish for a Day” on most Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the school year. Shadow days for students entering grades 6 through 12 run from 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., encompassing five academic periods and lunch. Shadow days for students entering PK4 to Grade 5 run from 7:45 a.m. to 3:05 p.m., and also include lunch.
Students entering Grade 9 who would like to have an enhanced shadow day experience at NDP may wish to consider registering for one of two "Lucky Days" during the fall semester, or one in May for current Grade 7 students who are looking to matriculate as 9th graders. Lucky Days run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., encompassing four academic periods and lunch; they will begin and end with brief special programs. Lucky Days are sure to be a fun, informative and memorable experience for all attendees. Space is limited. The dates for Lucky Days follow:

OPEN HOUSE (GRADES 6-12), 10/20/19
New this year we are shifting to an interactive Open House for Notre Dame Preparatory and Middle School. Guests are strongly encouraged to register in advance, and to arrive for the start of the program at noon. Following a brief welcoming, students will be invited to participate in four different classroom “experiences,” while parents may opt to attend info sessions for athletics, campus ministry, counseling, and IB. Current students and parents also will hold a panel session. At the conclusion of the scheduled program at 2 p.m., guests will be invited to stay and watch a sports practice, a band rehearsal, and/or a robotics demonstration, and also will have the opportunity to explore our greenhouse, robotics lab and fitness center. The date for Open House (Grades 6-12) is Sunday, October 20, from noon to 3 p.m.

Also new this year, we are moving our Open House for Notre Dame Lower School to January. Similar to the fall Open House, guests are strongly encouraged to register in advance, and to arrive for the start of the program at noon. Following a brief welcoming, parents and children will be able to take guided or self-guided tours, meet with teachers, and speak with current parents. Children also will have the option to explore in the art, music, technology, and Atrium classrooms, and do hands-on play with robotics. The date for Open House (Grades PK-5) is Sunday, January 26, from noon to 2 p.m.
