The next level

A diverse lineup of colleges and universities await Notre Dame Prep's Class of 2019 in the fall.

Two hundred seniors in the Class of 2019 received diplomas from Notre Dame Preparatory School last month after four years at the International Baccalaureate school located in Pontiac, Mich. But not only is Notre Dame Prep's 25th graduating class leaving behind a beautiful campus, a very proud faculty and staff, and the state's number-one Catholic high school, they also are leaving behind a number of impressive statistics as a group.

According to figures released by Notre Dame Prep’s counseling department, to date this year’s class of graduating seniors earned more than $10 million in academic merit scholarships from colleges and universities, a number that likely will go up as the graduates continue to receive scholarship offers through early summer.

In addition, the Class of 2019 averaged 26.8 on the ACT and included 57 students who scored a 30 or above on the test. Also, Notre Dame's graduating seniors averaged 1238 on the SAT and finished the year with an overall grade-point-average (GPA) of 3.74.

Twenty-seven graduates fill out this year’s valedictory court for the class, which also features 51 candidates for the prestigious International Baccalaureate diploma. In addition, 145 of the finest colleges and universities across the country have accepted Class of 2019 graduates, including the University of Michigan, which accepted 39 NDP students, the University of Notre Dame, Aquinas, Slippery Rock, Harvard and Cornell.

The Notre Dame Prep counseling department put together a full list of the college and university acceptances for the school's Class of 2019, including many that offered multiple acceptances to the graduated seniors.
