The Fighting Irish finished sixth in the season opening meet of Catholic High Schools. Michigan Catholic Invite (August 25, 2007).

Holly High School is hosting the MHSAA Regional which will include the following teams: Birmingham-Seaholm, Bloomfield Hills-Andover,Bloomfield Hills-Cranbrook Kingswood, Bloomfield Hills-Lahser, Bloomfield Hills-Marian, Dearborn Heights-Crestwood, Dearborn-Divine Child, Detroit-Chadsey, Detroit-Renaissance,Farmington Hills-Harrison, Fenton, Linden,Livonia-Ladywood,Orchard Lake-St Mary Preparatory ,Pontiac-Notre Dame Preparatory, Redford-Thurston. NDP will open the season on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the Michigan Catholic High School Cross Country Invitational at the St. Francis Retreat Center in Dewitt.

Sarah Burns competed in the MHSAA State Finals on Satruday, November 4th 2006.  It was her fourth year qualifying for the finals in her four years at NDP.  She topped her regional time with a new season best time of 20:13. 

NDP Girls Cross Country placed 4th at the Regional Meet (Clintonwood Park) on Saturday, October 28th.  Sarah Burns qualified for the MHSAA State Finals (Nov. 4th @ Michigan International Speedway) with a time of 20:19.

NDP Girls Cross Country won the 2006 Catholic League Championship meet on Saturday, October 21st with five girls placing in the top fifteen.
