Faculty Enhancement Programs
We are involved in three programs that help offset the expenses associated with our teachers\' professional enhancement; the Target Guest Card program, the Gordon Food Services ( GFS ) Fun Funds program and PARISIAN CELEBRATE EDUCATION program. Revenue from these programs help offset expenses (along with regular school funding) which allow our teachers to attend more workshops and professional meetings, as well as take university courses toward advanced degrees in teaching. As a parent you recognize the importance of having dynamic teachers.
Target Guest Card:
Use your Target Guest Card when you shop at Target. One percent (1%) of your purchase is donated to the school. If you have a Guest Card, call 1-800-316-6142 and designate Notre Dame Prep and Marist Academy as the school of your choice. Applications are available at any Target store. Although one percent doesn\'t sound like much, if you multiply it by over 800 families it could be quite profitable to the school.
GFS Fun Funds:
Like Target, a percentage of sales (ranges from 3-7%) comes directly back to the school. Gordon Food Services will send a monthly flyer to your home address filled with coupons and specials.
The Village of Rochester Hills and Laurel Park Place stores, through their CELEBRATE EDUCATION events help raise money for area schools. This event takes place twice a year. Purchase a ticket from the Advancement Office and present it at Parisian the day of the event to receive a 20% discount. The school keeps 100% of the proceeds.
