Visit Notre Dame

Members of the Admissions team are available every weekday to answer questions and guide you through the admission process. We invite you to reach out to us via phone (248) 373-1061, or email us at admissions@ndpma.org. Better yet, we encourage you to submit an inquiry form. By doing so you automatically will create an account in MyNotreDame, and will be one step ahead when it comes time to apply.

We also invite you to join us for one or more of the multiple in-person and virtual events on our schedule. Links to virtual sessions will be e-mailed to registered participants in advance.

SHADOWING

Notre Dame welcomes students entering grades 6 and up to be “Irish for a Day” on most days throughout the school year. Shadow days run from 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., encompassing four academic periods, Community Time, and lunch. Students applying to our lower school will have a “Visit Day” scheduled for them at the end of the admission process.

Students entering Grade 9 who would like to have an enhanced shadow day experience at NDP may wish to consider registering for a “Lucky Day” during the fall semester, or one in March for current Grade 7 students who are looking to matriculate as 9^th graders.* Lucky Days run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., encompassing three academic periods and lunch. They begin and end with brief special programs, and include a voluntary scavenger hunt. Lucky Days are sure to be a fun, informative and memorable experience for all attendees. Space is limited.

ADMISSIONS PREVIEWS

Admissions Previews are in-person events designed for prospective parents to learn more about Notre Dame in an intimate setting. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from current students and school administrators, participate in a Q&A, and take a tour of our facilities. The dates for our 2022-23 Admissions Previews follow. All are scheduled to run from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

SCHOOL DAY OPEN HOUSES

School Day Open Houses are similar to Admissions Previews (see above) but offer the added bonus of allowing prospective parents the opportunity to observe classes in action. The dates for our 2022-23 School Day Open Houses follow. All are scheduled to run from 9 to 11 a.m.

VIRTUAL INFO SESSION

Explore Notre Dame from the comfort of your own home by participating in our Virtual Info Session. The Office of Admissions will serve as your concierge as you learn about our school mission, our student-centered and faith-based approach to education, our outstanding facilities and resources, our success in graduating alumni who are ready to change the world, and our commitment to making a Notre Dame education a reality for all. The date for our 2022-23 Virtual Info Session follows. It is scheduled to run from 7 to 8 p.m.
