President's Letter

Welcome Notre Dame Prep and Marist Academy Athletic Booster.  I am honored and excited to be your Booster Club President.  We have assembled a group of parents to participate on our board and head various committees that are excited, dedicated and creative.

Our mission has been and continues to be to support and promote athletics at NDPMA.  The foundation set by the previous Athletic Booster Boards has been tremendous.  As a result, we have been able to support several large capital projects for the athletic program over the past couple of years.  Some of the projects include funding the purchase and installation of visitor bleachers on our athletic field, improvements to our main gym bleachers, contributing towards the new baseball and softball diamonds, and updating our team room with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment. However, this pales in comparison to the largest contribution our entire athletic booster club family makes which is making our NDPMA athletic culture the benchmark for all other athletic programs.   A big thank you to all of your work and effort!

As the Board came together in the summer we discussed what our key objectives for the future. We have targeted increased communication, increased parent involvement and enhanced parent experiences as keys for this year.  We still have a lot of work to do but have begun to lay the foundation for a successful first year together.  We have started by redesigning our booster webpage, increasing volunteerism, and are investigating increasing our spirit wear options.   We are always evaluating our processes and we are open to your suggestions.  Please remember, we are all members of the Booster Club. 

We are off to a great start this year and our athletes are doing well.  Again, I thank you for all you have done and continue to do for the NDPMA athletic community.
